Salesforce Admin, 1. AWS Cloud Administration & DevOps: Experience managing and optimizing AWS environments, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices.

  1. Linux System Administration & Middleware Support: Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), WebLogic, Java/J2EE applications, server administration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  2. Automation, CI/CD & Cloud Modernization: Experience with Python/Shell scripting, GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and migrating legacy applications to modern cloud-native architectures., This role requires expertise in traditional system administration (RHEL, WebLogic, Oracle) and modern DevOps practices on AWS. A key responsibility will be building a Proof of Concept (POC) to re-architect and rebuild the legacy application in a scalable, cloud-native AWS environment., * Responsible for providing technology initiatives, support on-going release activities and POC for applications as System Admin/DevOps engineer.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in AWS cloud environments (EC2 instances).
  • Administer and troubleshoot Java/J2EE applications deployed on WebLogic application servers, including configuration of JDBC data sources, connection pools, and JVM performance monitoring.
  • Provide system-level support for Oracle RDS, collaborating with DBA teams for performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Dynatrace, CloudWatch and implement robust troubleshooting procedures for application and infrastructure issues.
  • Build a Proof of Concept (POC) for rebuilding the legacy Java/J2EE application using modern AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3), micro services to improve scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (Shell, Python, Jython, WLST) to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator or DevOps Engineer managing enterprise-level applications.

  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.

  • Proficiency in administering WebLogic application servers and supporting Java/J2EE applications.

  • Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in AWS cloud environments (EC2 instances).

  • Familiarity with Oracle databases from a system administration perspective.

  • Experience with version control systems, specifically GitLab, and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, etc.).

  • Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Experience or familiarity with healthcare data management and compliance standards is a plus.

  • Develop POC for migrating code base from WebLogic to JBoss, and ORACLE RDS to Postgres

  • Hands on with Containerization

  • Collaboration work with development teams to streamline the process.

QUALIFICATIONS: (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, IT with 15+ years' experience, or equivalent in healthcare administration setting. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $64.29 - $64.29/hr.
