Job description

  • Review cases that are more than three days old without a completed report. Identify the cause of delays and notify radiologists for follow-up and resolution.
  • Review DocPanel cases that have remained unread for more than 24 hours and notify DocPanel via email for follow-up.
  • Monitor unread cardiac cases to ensure reports (including echocardiograms, EMGs, and stress tests) are completed and properly associated with the correct records.
  • Manage the Manual Validation queue by merging manually entered exams into the appropriate patient records.
  • Monitor the IB Dashboard for locked user accounts and process requests for physician portal account creation.

Account Management and User Support:

  • Provision new employees by collecting required information and creating accounts for all necessary systems, including Gmail, PACS, Medics, ClearPath, RingCentral, Klara, and Updox.
  • Perform employee offboarding by disabling or terminating access to required systems, including Gmail, PACS, Medics, ClearPath, RingCentral, Klara, and Updox.
  • Create and configure physician portal accounts.
  • Troubleshoot physician portal issues, including account access problems and image-viewing issues.
  • Troubleshoot patient portal issues related to report access.

Data Management and System Maintenance:

  • Merge duplicate patient accounts created in error by the Front Desk across PACS, Medics, and Gravity.
  • Upload the Klara patient list as part of the legacy workflow prior to the Gravity implementation.

General IT Support Operations:

  • Perform clerical and administrative IT duties while confidentially maintaining and protecting patient information by adhering to the HIPAA Privacy Rule
  • Provide general IT support by responding to and resolving incoming technical support requests.
  • Monitor the IT support inbox and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and deploy equipment for new hires, including computers, monitors, scanners, CD burners, phones, network switches, and other required hardware.
  • Travel to various office locations to provide IT support, deliver equipment and supplies, including CDs, biopsy equipment, BLMI apparel, and other operational materials.
  • Support the IT team with all other tasks and duties as assigned.
  • Ability to alternate between prolonged periods sitting, frequent standing, lifting, reaching, stooping. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs

Requirements

  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree, related field of Information Technology, preferred
  • Relevant prior IT experience favored
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Network printer know how
