Job description
- Design, develop, and evaluate complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Generate engineering concepts and participate in design reviews.
- Analyze system performance against design specifications.
- Perform reliability testing and evaluate system interactions.
- Apply systems engineering principles to support product development.
- Manage system requirements, engineering risks, and traceability throughout development.
- Support new product development and identify technical challenges and solutions.
- Participate in experimental planning using Design of Experiments (DoE).
- Execute engineering projects with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Validation.
- Prepare and present engineering findings to technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation supporting system integration and equipment interfaces.
- Create technical documentation including engineering protocols, reports, integration documentation, and design records.
- Promote Quality First Time initiatives throughout development activities.
Testing & Data Analysis
- Develop Test Methods and Test Method Validation (TMV) protocols.
- Design comprehensive verification and validation testing plans.
- Build and configure engineering test beds.
- Execute hands-on testing of electro-mechanical systems.
- Analyze digital sensor outputs and system performance.
- Perform engineering data analysis using Python.
- Interpret results and author detailed technical reports.
- Support root cause investigations using analytical methodologies.
Manufacturing & Troubleshooting
- Assist in developing manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Troubleshoot complex system failures and identify root causes.
- Recommend and implement engineering solutions.
- Manage defect lifecycle activities including collection, documentation, tracking, and reporting with development partners.
- Support equipment integration activities and ensure proper engineering documentation throughout implementation.
Requirements
BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer to join our client's engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, hands-on engineer with expertise in complex electro-mechanical systems to support the design, development, testing, validation, and integration of advanced technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, test development, risk and requirements management, technical documentation, and hands-on troubleshooting. Experience with aerospace, automotive, or other highly regulated industries involving complex mechanical and electronic systems is highly desired.
This position requires an engineer who can work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions throughout the product lifecycle., * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams., Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries are strongly preferred:
