Job description
The Liquids Platform SME (Subject Matter Expert) Engineer reports to the Liquids Platform Director, he she is:
- Responsible for alignment, planning, design and completion of technology platform projects andor key initiatives.
- Developing, training and adopting Liquids Technology standards, guidelines and best practices;
- Driving Manufacturing Enabled Innovation through scouting, selecting, studying and developing business cases for new technologies addressing our business needs;
- Demonstrating solid technical background in the Liquids segment, with the ability to create strong relationships with different functions, to build technical solution adoption;
- Capable of assessing and processes and solving complex technical problems
The liquids Subject Matter Expert (SME) will:
- Execute Platform lead Engineering projects and deliver against FPOs (Final Project Objectives)
- Perform feasibility study of new Platform projects, define business case
- Plan and/or verify, and controls project costs and schedules
- Promote and monitor all regulatory requirements impacting platform
- Develop, review, and analyze specifications
- Analyze requirements to select and engage partners, manage their performance (e.g., suppliers, consultants)
- Assist in developing and maintaining technology roadmaps for the platform
- Ensure programs/projects are aligned with the technology platform roadmaps and standards.
- Contribute to planning, scoping, quantification, and implementation of all sorts of global programs
- Propose, develop, and drive technical standard adoption to meet current and future needs
- Act as preferred "go-to" person for complex issue resolution (at global level)
- Lead/participate in Community of Practice in own area(s) of expertise
- Lead technical capability building programs
- Influences internal and external peers
- Build extensive external and internal network
- Engage in external and internal benchmarking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements
Education: MS (Eng.) preferred Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, * Technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of liquids technologies (for personal care, food, chemicals or self-care).
- Experience with manufacturing operations and support.
- Experience in dealing with Manufacturing plants and their organization.
- Management experience in Manufacturing or Maintenance or other functions, Operations Excellence/Lean/6-Sigma is an advantage.
Travel: Regional & International Travel (up to 30%)
Additional Requirement: Proficient Knowledge of English Language

Benefits & conditions
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$124,100.00 - $175,200.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
