Senior Buyer - Manufacturing (SAP)

Develop and execute purchasing strategies to ensure timely procurement of materials and services. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders using SAP. Manage a portfolio of suppliers and maintain strong supplier relationships. Prepare RFQs, conduct competitive bidding processes, and evaluate supplier proposals. Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Coordinate with engineering, planning, operations, supplier quality, and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are met. Resolve supplier delivery, quality, invoice, and purchasing-related issues. Support supplier qualification, on boarding, evaluation, and performance management activities. Identify cost-saving opportunities through value analysis, alternative sourcing, and supplier development. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, purchasing procedures, and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Monitor supplier performance and market trends to support continuous improvement initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end purchasing process, develop sourcing strategies, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure the timely procurement of materials and services to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has strong SAP experience, a background in manufacturing procurement, and excellent negotiation and organizational skills., Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience. Strong experience using SAP for procurement and purchase order management. Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience with supplier negotiations and contract management. Experience managing RFQs, supplier sourcing, and vendor evaluation. Strong understanding of Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) processes. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. Knowledge of supplier quality and supplier performance management. Experience with international sourcing and procurement. Familiarity with procurement KPIs and cost reduction initiatives.
