Requirements

This Senior SDET will be working as part of an Agile product team modernizing a 40+ year-old reservation and booking platform. This SDET will build automated test frameworks from the ground up, converting manual testing processes into scalable automation solutions. The role is approximately 50% backend/API testing and 50% frontend web testing, requiring hands-on Java development, code reviews, and close collaboration with engineers, product owners, and fellow SDETs to deliver high-quality software. They must be fluent in English., 7+ years of SDET experience, experience building their own framework

  • Senior SDET tester with strong English skills
  • Java, Playwright, Rest Assured on back end with API
  • Playwright or Selenium framework, Playwright preferred
  • Full Stack SDET skillset, 50% back end with Java, 50% Front End/Web/API
  • Strong Java programmer - threading in Java, knowing how to use the gradle build system in Java
  • Heavy API testing in a framework (Rest Assured, Postman, Insomnia)
  • Schema validation, end point validation, GraphQL would be very helpful for this
  • Someone who has done peer coding and peer reviews to improve the ecosystem
  • Large enterprise environment
  • Great communication, strong English speaking
  • Passionate about development and testing

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Groovy or a JVM Framework (Kotlin, Scala) Web services such as GraphQL or Soap Playwright
