Job description
- The ITS Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting IT initiatives by managing administrative and logistical responsibilities.
- This includes scheduling meetings, tracking project progress, maintaining documentation such as plans, reports, and budgets, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication across teams.
- The coordinator helps ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and on budget while serving as a link between technical teams and stakeholders.
- The role will support multiple concurrent projects, including new builds, moves and migrations, and the decommissioning of IT services for both field and in-office partners., 1. Assist with planning, scheduling, and monitoring project milestones, timelines, and deliverables. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, facilitate communication, and maintain project documentation.
- Track project progress, manage budgets, and prepare status reports for leadership. Coordinate team members, equipment, vendors, and cross-functional partners to support the design, procurement, delivery, and execution of project systems and services.
- Obtain and ensure commitment to schedules from necessary team members and vendors.
- Escalate issues, risks, or conflicts that may impact project timelines or deliverables. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and removing roadblocks to maintain project momentum .Ensure IT projects adhere to safety, quality and security standards.
- Work primarily in an office environment, with potential travel to construction sites or remote locations as required by project needs.
- Perform additional duties as required to support project completions and the mission of the team.
- Provide regular, scheduled project updates to stakeholders
Requirements
Education/Experience Required: A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related work experience in IT in a technical role with similar responsibilities., * Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a business environment with project coordination and/or project administration: IT related experience preferred.
- ITIL, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Project+ preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years of recent and related work experience in IT in a technical role with similar responsibilities.
- Previous experience in project management/coordination or operations in an IT environment.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project) and methodologies (PMI, Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong organizational, detail-orientation, communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management skills; must be able to meet deadlines.
