Job description

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer to support the integration, verification, and testing of advanced Electro-Optical Infrared (EOIR) and Radio Frequency Electronic Warfare (RFEW) systems. The engineer will work across the entire system lifecycle, executing integration testing, design verification, qualification testing, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware in System Integration Labs (SILs)., * Perform system integration and testing for complex electronic systems.

  • Develop and execute test plans, test procedures, and test scripts.
  • Perform Design Verification Testing (DVT), Qualification Testing, and System Integration Testing.
  • Generate test reports and document test results.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and firmware issues.
  • Support testing in System Integration Labs (SILs) and offsite locations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure system performance, functionality, and compliance with engineering requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance (Mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with integration and testing of complex electronic systems.
  • Experience performing:
  • Design Verification Testing (DVT)
  • Environmental Qualification Testing
  • Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Testing
  • Knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices (VCRM).
  • Experience with:
  • EOIR Systems
  • RF Electronic Warfare (RFEW)
  • Sensors & Optics
  • RF Test Equipment
  • DSP
  • Antenna Design
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Cameo.
  • Programming or scripting experience with MATLAB, C, C++, Java, or Python.
  • Experience writing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
