Job description

  • Design, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
  • Manage EKS upgrades, lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and platform reliability.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Administer AWS services including EC2, Lambda, Fargate, S3, RDS, Route 53, and Direct Connect.
  • Support PostgreSQL and Aurora databases, including performance tuning, backups, recovery, and high availability.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security controls using IAM, WAF, KMS, Secrets Manager, and certificate management.
  • Design and optimize AI prompts leveraging prompt engineering techniques, AWS Bedrock, and AI integrations with APIs and databases.
  • Monitor cloud environments and troubleshoot infrastructure, security, and performance issues.

Requirements

Our client is seeking a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to support cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, AI initiatives, and secure enterprise applications within AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS, EKS/Kubernetes, Terraform, database administration, cloud security, and prompt engineering., * 5+ years of AWS cloud infrastructure experience.

  • Strong expertise with Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with:
  • EC2, Lambda, Fargate
  • S3, EBS
  • VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect
  • Terraform
  • CloudWatch and CloudTrail
  • 3+ years of AWS lifecycle management, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security.
  • 3-5 years of PostgreSQL, Aurora, and AWS RDS experience.
  • Strong SQL, database design, and performance tuning skills.
  • Experience with IAM, certificate management, secrets management, and vulnerability management.
  • 2+ years of prompt engineering experience, including few-shot/zero-shot prompting and AI integrations.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock or other generative AI platforms preferred., * Experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
  • AWS certifications.
  • Background in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
