Job description
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of our end-to end data pipelines.
- Tackle complex data issues to provide insights needed to accomplish our business goals and will develop data products for analytics and data scientist Team Members to boost their efficiency.
- Assist in crafting Proof of Concepts and advise, consult, mentor and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices.
- Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and process for analytic data engineering to improve our efficiency as a team.
- Develop and deliver communication and education plans on analytic data engineering capabilities, standards, and processes.
- Code, test, and detail new or modified data systems to build robust and scalable applications for data analytics as well as actively contribute to team discussions and initiatives, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging a cooperative work atmosphere.
- Responsible for data cataloging & documentation of data sources.
- Meet with business partners and analytics teams to understand and solve data needs, short-term and medium-term.
- Build trust with internal collaborators to encourage data-driven decision-making.
- Partner with data engineering to grow the value of our data products by onboarding new data from our backend and 3rd party systems.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 5 years of experience as a Data Warehousing Specialists or a related position/occupation.

Alternative Requirements: Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience as a Data Warehousing Specialists or a related position/occupation.

Experience must include 3 years with:
- Python;
- Airflow;
- AWS Services (SQS, SNS, S3, EC2, Glue, Glue catalog);
- Distributed processing; and
- Data modeling.
- Experience must also include
- Snowflake; and
- CI/CD.
Benefits & conditions
The base salary range for this role is $144,640.00 to $180,500.00 per year
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
