Principal Strategic Security Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud

In this role, you will lead and support projects on behalf of clients that assess, test, or build their security programs. Clients will range from start-up companies looking to supplement their security team to companies that need fresh ideas to enhance their perspective on the security program. You will provide guidance and advice to our clients on best practices and managing the risks for their security program. You will lead technical strategy and scale capabilities for Strategic Consulting. You will leverage Google Cloud Platform to drive organizational outcomes, architect systems, and influence cross-functional teams and manage client-facing responsibilities. US: $168000 - $244000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and modernize strategic consulting tools, optimizing for reliability, latency, and consulting productivity at scale.
• Lead the architectural evolution of consulting workflows and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with modern development practices.
• Drive the strategy and execution for deeply integrating Google's internal development ecosystem with Mandiant Consulting practices.
• Partner with Consulting Operations, Strategic Consulting, and Google engineering leaders to define and implement the ICBM team's mission at Mandiant.
• Coach and mentor consultants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and supporting the organizational growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
• 8 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time., * Experience implementing industry-leading practices around cyber risks and cloud security for clients' cloud security frameworks using industry standards.
• Experience designing and implementing software system architectures.
• Experience deploying and managing distributed systems on cloud platforms.
• Experience in using version control and code collaboration.
