Job description
This is not a DevOps role. We are looking for a strong software engineer with deep AWS development experience who can lead technical decisions, perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and serve as the technical expert across multiple applications., * Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications using modern cloud technologies
- Build and enhance cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services
- Serve as a technical lead and mentor for a team of approximately 10 developers
- Provide architecture guidance, code reviews, and technical direction
- Estimate development efforts for new business initiatives
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive technical solutions
- Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Proven experience building and supporting production applications in AWS
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including:
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- S3
- DynamoDB
- RDS
- Experience serving as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Senior Engineer
- Ability to mentor developers while remaining hands-on with coding
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting legacy applications built with .NET (helpful but not required)
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and modern software delivery practices
