  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures and working software.
  • Design and develop APIs, integrations, backend services, user interfaces, and data access components.
  • Lead and guide delivery teams through architecture and application development lifecycles, making key technical decisions.
  • Evaluate technical approaches and alternatives, considering risks, costs, defects, and long-term maintenance.
  • Recommend software technologies and integration solutions to meet business and system needs.
  • Create technical designs, models, wireframes, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts as needed.
  • Write clean, maintainable, secure, and testable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and promote design patterns and development best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and integration problems.

  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and supportable while anticipating future business and technical needs.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (architecture, design, integration, standards, deployment, testing).
  • Manage DevOps deliverables, including work items, repositories, pipelines, and documentation updates.
  • Produce end-to-end solution models with emphasis on non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, maintainability).
  • Educate and train staff on architecture, coding standards, design, development, testing, and delivery best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work with vendor products and complex system solutions.
  • Promote a customer-focused approach and maintain high ethical and work standards.
  • Stay current with technology trends and strategic IT solutions relevant to the utility and energy management industry.

  • Hands-on experience with .NET/C#, Angular, Azure, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, APIs, and integrations.
  • Experience in both technical architecture and hands-on development roles.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, SDLC, DevOps, SAFe).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Utility industry knowledge preferred (not required).
