Network Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer to join one of their government client's team. The purpose of this position is to provide multiple tier network support to highly complex edge networks. They will be responsible for planned changes, event/ incident management, field/specialty network support and design, interfacing with business partners offering direct operational agency support, wireless network management, and pilot execution. This candidate will be asked to come onsite when needed to Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.

3+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience

• 2+ years of Cisco networking experience, including Cisco CLI

• Experience updating and managing switch configurations

• Break/fix support experience in a network environment

• Exposure to network deployments and implementation activities

• Experience working within a ticketing system (ServiceNow preferred; others acceptable) - Cisco certified (CCNA, CCNP, etc.)

• Network+ Certification

• Experience with Aruba networking equipment

• SD-WAN experience is a plus, but not required

$30/hr to $35/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
