Job description
- Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software applications and system integrations.
- Translate customer and system requirements into scalable software designs and architectures.
- Develop, enhance, and optimize software products using modern development practices.
- Create and maintain software documentation, including architectures, algorithms, interfaces, and design specifications.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Support system integration, user inquiries, and technical issue resolution.
- Implement emerging technologies, development tools, and software engineering best practices.
- Contribute to software process improvements, quality metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in software research and development projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and support software project planning and supplier management activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Typically 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing software in C++, Ada 95, and/or Java.
- Experience working within Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for learning new technologies and solving complex engineering challenges.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance., * Degree from an ABET-accredited program.
- Recent experience developing production-level software applications.
- Experience delivering products across multiple technology stacks.
- Knowledge of software architecture, systems integration, and software lifecycle management.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or aviation.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
