Job description
This position has dual responsibility for the functional and data integrity of HR systems, and for utilizing statistical, reporting and data modeling software and techniques to develop insightful reports, presentations and analyses, develop predictive HR analytics and provide credible recommendations for leadership.
- Writes complex queries in PeopleSoft and conducts analysis in SAS, Excel and other advanced analytic or statistical software.
- Leads process improvement efforts.
- Responsible for Core HR Setup, including job code, dept., table setup and maintenance, configuration, functional specs.
- Works closely with IT and Business Partners to develop functional specs; interprets business processes into functional/technical requirements.
- High Level understanding of HR, Benefits and Payroll business processes.
- Works to enhance the HR Report Repository for executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders by analyzing current and future reporting needs. Analyze and delivery comprehensive HR reporting for clients.
- In coordination with IT, tests and troubleshoots functional issues as they arise in the normal course of business; implements changes necessary to achieve successful resolution of functional issues.
- Assists with the development of training materials and conducts HR Systems training.
- Serves as subject matter expert & consultant for global HR systems, data and processes.
- Must maintain absolute confidentiality and safeguard sensitive and highly confidential data at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in HR, Economics, Business, Computer Science/IT or related required.
- SAS, SQL, QMF or other applicable data manipulation language proficiency.
- Advanced skill level using PS Query, Excel, Access; willingness and capacity to learn new technologies as necessary
- Data modeling experience; proficiency with statistical software such as STATA, SPSS.
- Attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced, multi-task environment.
- Demonstrated project management experience with focus on communications and documentation.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills - ability to listen to needs, provide clear direction, communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and influence at all levels; proactively seeks to work with business partners to solve complex problems.
- Experience with business systems analysis, design, development and implementation.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, and/or Workday or similar HR systems preferred., AutoZone, and its subsidiary, ALLDATA are equal opportunity employers.
