Job description

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer , you will make an impact by designing, developing, and optimizing scalable test automation solutions that improve software quality, accelerate delivery, and support business-critical applications. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, product owners, business analysts, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions within the Banking & Financial Services domain.

In this role, you will: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing using Java-based technologies. Create and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios. Develop reusable automation components that improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, validate requirements, and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing, release validation, and production readiness activities. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations What you need to have to be considered Strong experience developing and maintaining Java-based automation frameworks for enterprise applications. Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver , Playwright , and REST Assured for UI and API test automation.

Requirements

Experience with TestNG or JUnit , object-oriented programming principles, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle . Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and API testing. Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Git, and GitHub. Strong SQL and database validation skills with the ability to validate data across backend systems. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with distributed, cross-functional teams. Proven ability to analyze defects, troubleshoot test failures, and perform root cause analysis. These will help you stand out Experience supporting applications within the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) industry. Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing and validation. Experience designing hybrid, modular, keyword-driven, or data-driven automation frameworks. Knowledge of automated test reporting, quality dashboards, and test metrics. Experience supporting release management, production validation, and post-deployment verification activities.
