- Building and maintaining systems that integrate clinical, operational, and administrative data
- Translating qualitative clinical information into measurable indicators
- Designing data collection tools, workflows, and dashboards
- Supporting clinical teams in applying assessment findings
- Creating clear data summaries and visualizations for leadership and frontline teams
- Conducting data validation and quality assurance (automated or manual)
- Training staff on documentation standards, reporting systems, and data best practices
Requirements
University Behavioral Associates (UBA), part of Montefiore Medical Center, is seeking a skilled and motivated Data Analyst to support quality assurance and improvement efforts across several child welfare programs funded by NYC Administration for Children's Services (ACS). These programs help ensure children receive safe, effective, and compassionate care - learn more at www.cmocares.org ., * Bachelor's required, Master's degree preferred in a related field
- 1-3 years experience.
- Strong experience with Excel and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills needed; including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas, dashboards, conditional formatting, data validation)
- Familiarity with related programs/ tools such as SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, RedCap, PC-SAS
- Solid understanding of database management and data visualization
- Knowledge of HIPAA, 42 CFR, and secure data-handling practices
- A detail-oriented mindset and a passion for improving systems that support vulnerable populations
