Job description

We're seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer / Cloud Cost Analyst to support AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud cost optimization for a large enterprise video platform. This role combines DevOps, automation, and FinOps responsibilities in a SAFe Agile environment., * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.

  • Optimize AWS cloud costs and analyze usage trends across multiple accounts.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Automate cloud operations, provisioning, monitoring, and governance.
  • Support AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Create dashboards and reports for cloud costs and infrastructure health.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams and drive technical initiatives from planning through delivery., leveraging AI-powered tools and platforms (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT, AI-based IDE assistants) to accelerate development, automate workflows, and improve productivity SR (PURE) FinOps Engineer - must hit ground running Role isn’t narrowly “optimize servers / cloud infrastructure costs.” Kat wants someone who can manage FinOps as an end-to-end operating model across the whole business-and-technology loop."

Requirements

  • 3+ years of AWS Cloud, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform/CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization (FinOps), automation, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, or ChatGPT is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • AWS Certifications.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Jira, Grafana/QuickSight, and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Exposure to serverless architectures and AI/ML services.
