Job description

Own, design, build and deliver projects outlined in the department's roadmap related to the incentive compensation management and performance management systems

Responsible for capturing business requirements, system configuration, workflow design, analyzing and testing results, aligning downstream processes and implementing solutions using department applications; Partner in cooperation with internal information systems departments & vendors.

Provide technical direction, maintenance, and support for department applications, and act as the business and system resource. Ensure proper use of test and production environments

Create and maintain documentation of processes, policies, application configuration, and other 'guide' materials for internal user base

Work with team members to identify and resolve incidents using defined processes

Partner with team and management in the planning & executing of process improvements

Participate in team-wide efforts to accomplish organizational & departmental initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

Strong understanding of operations, governance, and controls that can impact systems and calculations
-
Strong ability to perform data validation, develop processes and deliver efficient end user solutions
-
Ability to visualize and translate business needs into technological solutions
-
Strong ability to translate and summarize technical to business applications, often with an executive audience
-
Solid grasp of integrations, workflow solutions, database concepts, hierarchy/access controls, and reporting/analytics solutions

Ability to use platform applications to refine data, perform advanced logic-based calculations and leverage some SQL code
-
Ability to model business processes using a variety of tools and techniques

Capable of working both independently and within a group to deliver results

Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

Highly motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including advanced Excel, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

5+ years experience with data analytics and project management required

Extensive experience working with Excel and database environments required

Experience working with complex data environments and enterprise applications (SAP, Workday, Performio, Databricks, Salesforce, etc.) preferred

Experience with compensation and/or performance metrics preferred
-
Experience in the financial industry (investments or banking) preferred

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $93,000 to $109,000 annually.
