Job description
We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Messaging Support Engineer to provide operational support and administration for Microsoft Exchange Online and related Microsoft 365 services in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting messaging issues, managing mail flow, supporting user and group administration, and maintaining the availability and security of Microsoft 365 messaging services., * Administer and support Microsoft Exchange Online in a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Manage mailboxes, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, and mail flow configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve messaging-related incidents, service requests, and escalations.
- Perform message tracing, mail flow analysis, and transport rule management.
- Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) user administration, licensing, and authentication-related issues.
- Utilize PowerShell to automate administration, reporting, and operational tasks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support Microsoft 365 services.
- Maintain operational documentation, procedures, and technical knowledge articles.
- Participate in on-call support and incident response activities as required.
Requirements
Preferred Time Zone: Eastern Time (EST/EDT) preferred; qualified candidates in other U.S. time zones will be considered., * 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online in an enterprise environment supporting 1,000+ users.
- 2+ years of experience using PowerShell for Microsoft 365 administration, reporting, or automation.
- 2+ years of experience managing Exchange Online mailboxes, mail flow, transport rules, message tracing, and email troubleshooting in a production environment., * Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), group management, and licensing administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365, email security, and messaging compliance features.
- Knowledge of hybrid Exchange environments and Microsoft 365 migrations.
- Microsoft 365, Exchange, or Azure certifications are preferred.
- Experience working within ITIL-based support organizations., * Candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone are preferred to support team and customer collaboration requirements; however, qualified candidates from other U.S. time zones will be considered.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $61,668- $107,063. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
