Senior Software Engineer - Tewksbury/Woburn

• Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
• Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancement of existing applications and systems
• Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or a related (STEM) discipline

• Minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, C# or similar object-oriented software language
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required, note only U.S. Citizen can obtain security clearance

• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and multithreaded applications.
• Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems
• Knowledge of Windows development
• Exposure to Open Systems Architectures and modular design principles

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
