Job description
A customer of Insight Global is looking to hire a Data Engineer to come onboard! This individual will support a global data and architecture team focused on maintaining and optimizing a cloud-based data ecosystem. The role centers on production support, including managing Snowflake data pipelines, troubleshooting integrations, and ensuring consistent data transformations and reporting workflows. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and must be comfortable collaborating in a distributed environment with late evening IST overlap with US stakeholders. This person will also: * Provide production support for data pipelines and workflows within Snowflake

Monitor and maintain data integrations using tools such as Workato

Troubleshoot data transformation issues and ensure data accuracy across systems

Write and maintain Python scripts for automation and pipeline support

Manage API integrations and resolve data connectivity issues

Optimize SQL queries and support reporting/dashboarding needs

Collaborate with US-based stakeholders during overlapping hours for issue resolution

Support CI/CD pipeline processes related to data engineering workflows
Requirements
-
5+ years of experience in data engineering

3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehouse management, transformations)

Strong experience with SQL (advanced querying, optimization)

Experience building and maintaining data transformations (ETL/ELT pipelines)

Experience with Workato or similar integration platform

Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and pipeline support

Experience with CI/CD pipelines in a data engineering environment

Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and API integration AI exposure and experience
