Job description
The Decision Support Analyst supports strategic, financial, operational, and clinical decision-making across a regional health system through data analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance improvement initiatives. This role partners with leadership, finance, HR, clinical, and operational teams to develop actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and enhance patient care outcomes. The analyst will manage and analyze complex healthcare data, maintain reporting and decision support systems, and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to stakeholders across the organization., * Provide actionable insights that improve operational performance, financial outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.
- Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and analytical models for leadership and department stakeholders.
- Analyze historical and forecast opportunities for operational improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in analytics and decision support.
- Support/maintain proforma development, strategic planning, capital investment analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Required, * Experience in healthcare analytics, financial analysis, decision support, business intelligence, reporting, or data management. Preferred
- Experience working within hospital systems, clinic networks, or healthcare operations. Preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Strata, Workday, EPIC, Fabric, Microsoft Office Suite (Bonus Python, DAX, Power QueryM).
- Experience with report creation and maintenance; healthcare operations, finance, clinical, and regulatory.
- Experience building dashboards, data visualizations, and developing key performance metrics.
