Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our innovative IT team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining our Salesforce platform to ensure seamless business operations. Your expertise will drive system efficiency, enhance user experience, and support the organization's digital transformation initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence., * Configure, customize, and maintain Salesforce applications to meet evolving business needs, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

  • Manage system administration tasks including user account setup, role hierarchies, permissions, and security settings aligned with organizational policies.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using tools like Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flow, and Apex triggers to streamline business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to Salesforce functionality, integrations, and data integrity promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solution architectures that incorporate Service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles for modularity and reusability.
  • Oversee data management activities including data imports/exports, deduplication, validation rules, and data quality assurance.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, and releases while ensuring minimal disruption through thorough testing and documentation.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, workflows, and best practices for ongoing system support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform features such as Lightning Experience, Reports & Dashboards, and AppExchange integrations.
  • Familiarity with solution architecture concepts including RAID controller management (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), load balancing, and server backup & recovery procedures.
  • Knowledge of Service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices frameworks, RESTful APIs, and integration techniques involving Pegasystems or similar BPM platforms.
  • Proficiency in system administration tasks across various operating systems including Windows Server and Linux environments; experience with Windows Server administration is highly desirable.
  • Strong scripting skills using JavaScript, Shell Scripting (Bash), Python or T-SQL for automation and troubleshooting purposes.
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure components including VMware ESXi virtualization, Kubernetes container orchestration, AWS cloud services (EC2, S3), Azure cloud platform integration, DNS management, VPN configuration, firewall setup, DHCP configuration, and network protocols such as TCP/IP.
  • Ability to perform system tuning for performance optimization across applications and hardware resources; experience with system design principles is essential.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git workflows; familiarity with SDLC methodologies like Agile is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of information security best practices including firewall management, access controls via Active Directory management, encryption standards for data protection, and compliance requirements related to IT security policies.
