We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III to lead the planning, design, and implementation of our core systems infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, security, and performance of our enterprise hardware and software environments. This is a hands-on, highly autonomous role for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will rely on your technical expertise and industry best practices to engineer scalable solutions, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot complex operational challenges. If you are a proactive problem-solver who enjoys driving infrastructure projects and mentoring junior team members, we want to hear from you., Infrastructure Design & Implementation Systems Architecture: Plan, design, and execute the implementation of enterprise-grade hardware and software infrastructure to support growing business needs. Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of servers, storage, and associated platforms, ensuring seamless upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows.
Operations & Leadership Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as an advanced escalation point for complex infrastructure incidents, performing root-cause analysis and deploying preventative solutions. Project & Team Guidance: Lead and direct the technical work of junior team members on infrastructure projects. Bring creativity and independent judgment to complex system challenges. Documentation & Standards: Establish and maintain robust technical documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures across the systems environment.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience Baseline: 4 to 6+ years of professional experience in systems engineering or a closely related infrastructure role. Technical Mastery: Deep familiarity with standard enterprise hardware, operating systems, networking concepts, and systems architecture practices. Autonomy: Proven ability to rely on experience and independent judgment to plan, execute, and accomplish complex project goals.
Preferred Attributes Demonstrated leadership experience-comfortable guiding project tasks and mentoring other technical staff. Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical infrastructure requirements for management and business stakeholders.
