In this role, with your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions., * Define, design, and own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for evaluating Beam head tracking performance and robustness.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the evaluation infrastructure, including systems for data recording, replay, metrics computation, dashboards, and automated alerting.
- Collaborate closely with the team to provide feedback, guide algorithm improvements, and validate changes.
- Design and implement testing scenarios, including synthetic data generation and real-world data collection, to cover use cases.
- Work effectively with cross-functional partners, including Product Managers, UX Researchers, and other Engineering teams.
Requirements
Experience driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area., * Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience leading multi-quarter projects, from design to implementation to landing.
- Experience programming in C++ and Python.
- Experience building evaluation systems for real-time systems, in areas like 3D tracking, robotics, or Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR)., * PhD degree or in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Computer Graphics or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with performance benchmarking, testing infrastructure, and data analysis/visualization tools.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and evaluating ML models, including data pipelines, training, and deployment.
