Job description

Job Summary We are seeking a Lead DevOps & Cloud Operations Engineer to lead the migration of enterprise Kubernetes ingress infrastructure from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik while supporting cloud operations and production environments. This role is responsible for designing migration strategies, managing Kubernetes platforms, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Traefik, NGINX, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), cloud operations, and DevOps best practices. Key Responsibilities Lead the migration of Kubernetes ingress infrastructure from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik. Assess the existing NGINX environment and design scalable Traefik architecture and migration strategies. Configure and manage ingress rules, middleware, SSL/TLS certificates, traffic routing, and load balancing within Kubernetes environments. Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, and Azure DevOps. Deploy, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Kubernetes, and Docker. Support production environments by performing incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), problem management, and performance tuning. Support and troubleshoot Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) jobs, workflows, integrations, and production issues. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability. Implement cloud automation, infrastructure management, and operational best practices. Monitor application performance, system health, and platform availability while ensuring high service reliability. Communicate directly with clients, providing technical guidance, project updates, and issue resolution. Develop and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud operations, CI/CD pipeline development, and production support. Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitHub Pipelines, and Azure DevOps. Strong expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud networking technologies. Proven experience leading migrations from NGINX Ingress Controller to Traefik, including ingress configuration, middleware, SSL/TLS, routing, and performance optimization. Experience supporting Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) in production environments. Experience leading major incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and system stabilization efforts. Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, container orchestration, and cloud-native application deployment. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Experience with cloud automation, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning. Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and Kubernetes best practices. Experience supporting highly available, enterprise-scale cloud platforms. Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools for cloud-native environments. Education: Bachelors Degree
