Job description

  • You will develop gameplay features, systems and tools across the full breadth of the project in C++ and Blueprints.
  • You will take ownership of features from design through implementation, optimization and shipping.
  • You will work with modern Unreal Engine tooling and workflows and help the team adopt the best tools available.
  • You will profile and optimize for standalone XR hardware together with our rendering team.
  • You communicate daily with the production manager.

Requirements

  • You have several years of professional experience as an Unreal Engine programmer and have shipped at least one title, preferably in the action-adventure genre.
  • You have strong C++ and Blueprint skills and are comfortable across gameplay, UI, systems and tools.
  • You have a self-starter mentality with a track record of taking real ownership.
  • You have experience with VR game development (big bonus).
  • You are up to date with the modern game development toolchain, including AI-assisted workflows where they help.
  • You know how to work with source control.
  • You are a problem solver with proactive technical skills.
  • You have a positive work drive and can work efficiently towards tight deadlines.
  • You are willing to work on location in Antwerp, Belgium.

Cyborn is looking for a senior generalist Unreal Engine programmer who can take a lot of ownership and is able to use all modern tools currently on the market. You will develop gameplay features, systems and tools across the full breadth of our ambitious new production, together with our engine and rendering team.
