Job description
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise identity infrastructure, administering LDAP services, and ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical backend systems., * Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP environments.
- Manage LDAP operations, including replication, schema management, backups, performance tuning, and issue resolution.
- Install, configure, patch, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts using Bash, KSH, or Perl.
- Monitor infrastructure, investigate incidents, and proactively resolve technical issues.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while following ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Linux/UNIX system administration and enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP.
- Solid expertise in Red Hat Linux administration.
- Good scripting skills using Bash, KSH, or Perl for automation and system administration.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic and Apache Tomcat.
- Familiarity with Apache Ignite and Apache Derby.
- Experience working with development and deployment tools such as Git, Bamboo, and Nexus.
- ITIL Foundation Certification.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
