UX Designer - Design Systems

• 5+ years of professional UX design experience\n
• Degree or vocational qualification in design, HCI, or a related field.\n
• Deep knowledge of design systems; not just how they work, but why.\n
• Hands-on experience integrating design systems with AI tooling and token-based interactions.\n
• Skilled in Figma for component and pattern design, prototyping, and documentation.\n
• Experienced working across design, engineering, and accessibility.\n
• Confident driving strategic decisions in a product triad.\n

Your environment \n As a UX Designer - Design Systems, you'll join a multidisciplinary product enablement team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX Designers. You'll work in an environment that values creativity, user-centric thinking, and teamwork, with colleagues based in the Netherlands, Germany, and Hungary. You will report to a UX Manager and regularly engage with the Design System team and other stakeholders. \n

Your tasks

• Adapt the design system to enable accurate prototyping with AI tooling\n
• Own components, patterns, and usage guidelines from definition to delivery.\n
• Proactively identify gaps in the enterprise system and translate insights into accessible, inclusive, and scalable solutions.\n
• Create prototypes to demo, test, and communicate component behavior to stakeholders.\n
• Facilitate ideation and problem-solving with teammates and stakeholders.\n
• Ensure consistency and efficiency across the system; propose new components or improvements when needed.\n
• Define how design and code intersect, including AI-driven and token-aware surface needs.\n
• Validate and refine components through feedback, usability testing, and data analysis.\n
• Deliver clear documentation and handover materials for seamless developer implementation.\n
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers to shape system decisions.\n
• Contribute to raising design maturity and improving design processes across the organisation\n
• Stay current on emerging trends, tools, and best practices in design systems and AI tooling.\n
