Job description

We're looking for a proactive Application Support Specialist to join our Murex team in Stockholm. You'll collaborate with a major bank, diagnosing and resolving functional issues for users within their Murex environment, ensuring efficient application usage., * Serve as the 1st line of support for all stakeholders across front, middle, and back office functions

  • Troubleshoot Realtime setup/RTBS and Market Data issues on both intraday and EOD basis
  • Support Trade Entry processes for FX and IRD products with Optionality, including structured trade products
  • Handle Trade Lifecycle activities, including Contract, Exchange Task workflows, and DataDictionary
  • Manage Datamart and Reporting-related queries
  • Support FO Simulation Views, including portfolio simulation by trade, by position, and on-the-fly simulation
  • Maintain integrations with external systems such as Markitwire and Bloomberg
  • Assist with pricing and structuring of trades, including P&L impact analysis of trade actions
  • Perform routine activities such as IMM and EOQ
  • Document issue resolutions and share knowledge via training calls with internal team members
  • Coordinate and prioritize workload strategically across differing business area needs
  • Contribute to Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Murex application support, preferably within a banking environment
  • Knowledge of front, middle, and back office functionality
  • Expertise in Trade Entry for FX and IRD products with optionality, as well as structured trade products
  • Proficiency in Trade Lifecycle management, including Contract, Exchange Task workflows, and DataDictionary
  • Familiarity with Datamart/Reporting, FO Simulation Views, and FO/Valuation modules
  • Background in Realtime setup/RTBS and Market Data troubleshooting (intraday and EOD)
  • Understanding of integrations with systems such as Markitwire and Bloomberg
  • Competency in Incident, Problem, and Change Management practices
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, including SNAP, Jira, and Confluence
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload according to business needs
  • Growth mindset with a passion for streamlining and automating processes
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills (B2 level or higher) to engage directly with Front Office (FO) and business users

  • Skills in SQL and Unix
  • Experience in migration and/or upgrade activities
  • Background in testing activities
