We are building a new Digital Assets team at Euronext, with the mission to develop our tokenisation and distributed ledger technology (DLT) capabilities, launch products for financial institutions and retail clients, and define the next generation of financial market infrastructure - bridging traditional and decentralised finance.
This is a founder-style mandate inside an established, regulated institution: the mission, the ambiguity and the pace of a zero-to-one build, backed by the credibility and scale of Europe's leading exchange group.

We are looking for a Blockchain / Smart Contract Engineer . You will be responsible for designing, building and securing the on-chain core, including all smart contracts involved in our workflows from issuance to settlement. You will work closely with the product team and collaborate cross teams to deliver robust and compliant solutions.
The position will be based in Paris, Porto, Milan or Rome, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the CTO Digital Assets.
You will primarily be responsible for
- Designing and implementing all smart contracts constituting the core of our digital assets platform.
- Writing property-based and fuzz tests; maintain invariants on supply and ownership.
- Preparing contracts for external audit and remediate findings.
- Designing the tokenization engine for reuse across multiple instrument types.
- Using AI-assisted contract scaffolding and refactoring, with disciplined human review of every generated line.
- Generating property and fuzz test suites for smart-contract invariants with AI.
- Using AI for vulnerability triage and audit preparation, treating output as leads to verify rather than conclusions.
- Maintaining prompt hygiene - never expose keys, addresses, or unaudited logic to external AI services.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Solidity / EVM experience; permissioned-chain patterns (e.g. Canton, Besu).
- Deep understanding of ERC-20 and extensions.
- Experience with property-based and fuzz testing; gas and security profiling.
- A precise, security-first mindset and experience working with auditors.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, with three or more years of relevant experience.
