Senior Data Migration Engineer

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end data migration strategies for Azure-based applications and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure accurate, secure, and efficient data migration.
• Perform data analysis, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure high data quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and consistency across source and target systems.
• Develop and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business, application, and technical teams to support migration planning, execution, testing, and deployment.
• Utilize Azure DevOps to manage work items, deployments, release pipelines, and Agile delivery processes.
• Support migration testing, defect resolution, and post-migration validation to ensure successful project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of migration processes and best practices., * Design and execute large-scale ETL and data migration solutions.
• Analyze, cleanse, validate, and reconcile data to ensure migration accuracy.
• Develop efficient SQL scripts for migration, reporting, and data validation.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver migration projects using Agile methodologies.

• 8-10 years of experience in Data Migration, ETL Development, Data Engineering, or Azure-based data integration projects.
• Strong expertise in ETL processes, data migration methodologies, and Azure-based applications or COTS platforms.
• Hands-on experience with SQL scripting, data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality and data integrity issues.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile delivery methodologies, and release management processes.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, MySQL, and Unix Shell Scripting or text processing tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent stakeholder communication.
