- Do you want to champion DevSecOps and modern CI/CD frameworks within a collaborative, remote-first global team?, We are seeking a Senior DevOps Build Engineer with a strong ambition to grow and develop further in their DevOps career path. In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment to build, optimize, and maintain our infrastructure automation landscape.
As a key member of our global DevOps team, you will follow a Kanban way of working-focusing on continuous improvement, transparency, and flow efficiency. You will play a crucial role in partnering with Agile development teams to deploy and manage code changes, while ensuring our customer-facing systems run reliably at scale.
The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Snr DevOps Build Engineer includes:
- Build & Dependency Management: Own and define build and dependency management strategies across multiple applications and teams. Design, optimize, and maintain reusable Maven build frameworks and standards.
- Security & Release Management: Partner closely with Security and Architecture teams to establish security baselines, DevSecOps best practices, and act as a key stakeholder during security audits and compliance reviews.
- Integration Testing & Quality Support: Establish quality metrics and automated quality gates within CI/CD pipelines. Lead root cause analysis for complex build, deployment, and integration issues, driving permanent corrective actions.
- CI/CD & DevOps Automation: Own the design, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise CI/CD platforms. Drive automation initiatives to optimize developer productivity and operational efficiency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate with QA, Dev, Security, and Ops teams to align on delivery objectives. Mentor and coach other engineers in modern DevOps practices and document technical standards.
Requirements

Extensive experience with Maven, including large-scale multi-module projects, dependency governance, build optimization, and custom plugin development.

Strong expertise in the Java ecosystem (framework compatibility, runtime management, Tomcat, application servers, and modernization initiatives).

Proven experience leading complex upgrades of Java, Spring, Tomcat, and containerized environments.

Deep knowledge of modern CI/CD platforms (such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).

Advanced understanding of DevSecOps, secure software supply chains, and vulnerability management.

Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes alongside Linux administration.

Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible, or similar).

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

Experience implementing observability solutions using monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.

A strong understanding of Git workflows, version control strategies, and release management processes.
