Job description
We are seeking an experienced Senior TIBCO DevOps Engineer to support and maintain mission-critical enterprise integration platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 5.x), Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, production support, and enterprise monitoring solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance optimization, deployment automation, and operational excellence within an Agile environment.
- Analyze database and application performance and recommend performance improvements.
- Monitor production environments and enhance monitoring with proactive alerting solutions.
- Ensure application security, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained.
- Respond to production incidents and participate in 24x7 on-call/standby support.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Improve deployment processes and reduce development lead times through automation.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure reliable application delivery.
- Create and maintain monitoring dashboards and operational reports.
- Support deployments across containerized and traditional environments.
- Work within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) teams and contribute to continuous process improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Middleware, or Integration Engineering.
- Strong experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 5.x) and TIBCO EMS.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including:
- Code repositories
- CI/CD pipelines
- Code reviews
- Automated deployments
- Experience with Git, Maven, and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as:
- Grafana
- Kibana
- Prometheus

Strong scripting skills using Bash and Unix shell scripting.

Good understanding of relational databases; Oracle experience is an advantage.

Experience deploying applications on both containerized and non-containerized platforms.

Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent project and time management abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Experience in the banking or financial services domain.

Knowledge of Risk and Compliance practices.

Experience with test automation tools.

Familiarity with Parasoft products.
