Job description
- Manage and support enterprise Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and later).
- Build, configure, maintain, and decommission physical and virtual servers.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Perform system patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Work with security, networking, storage, and cloud teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Participate in on-call support and planned out-of-hours maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP administration.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Windows patch management and OS lifecycle management.
- Server build, deployment, and operational acceptance processes.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise environments.
- Security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Windows update technologies is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within agile delivery teams.
- Experience operating within ITIL-based service management environments.
- Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
