Job description

  • Manage and support enterprise Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and later).
  • Build, configure, maintain, and decommission physical and virtual servers.
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Perform system patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Work with security, networking, storage, and cloud teams to deliver infrastructure solutions.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in on-call support and planned out-of-hours maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP administration.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • Windows patch management and OS lifecycle management.
  • Server build, deployment, and operational acceptance processes.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting enterprise environments.
  • Security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) and Windows update technologies is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within agile delivery teams.
  • Experience operating within ITIL-based service management environments.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing skills.
