Job description

We are seeking experienced Oracle EPM Developers to support a major Oracle EPM transformation programme.

This is a hands-on development role requiring consultants who have delivered Oracle EPM solutions through design, build, testing and deployment phases. We are particularly interested in developers with strong Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Service (PCMCS) experience, alongside Oracle Planning and EPM Data Exchange capabilities.

Candidates should be technical specialists who have actively configured and developed Oracle EPM applications, rather than Business Analysts, Functional Leads or Project Managers.

  • Develop and configure Oracle EPM Cloud applications.
  • Design and build PCMCS profitability and cost allocation models.
  • Configure Oracle Planning applications, forms, calculations and business rules.
  • Develop and maintain data integrations using EPM Data Exchange.
  • Build interfaces between Oracle EPM and third-party/non-Oracle systems.
  • Support technical design workshops and solution development activities.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing and defect remediation.
  • Assist with deployments, releases and post-go-live support.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Technology and Business stakeholders throughout delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven Oracle EPM Cloud development experience.

  • Hands-on experience delivering at least one full Oracle PCMCS implementation as a developer.

  • Strong configuration and development expertise within PCMCS.

  • Experience developing Oracle Planning solutions, including standard financial planning frameworks and custom planning applications.

  • Experience building business rules, calculations and planning models.

  • Working knowledge of EPM Data Exchange and integration development.

  • Experience supporting full project lifecycles from build through to deployment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Multiple Oracle PCMCS implementations.

  • Advanced EPM Data Exchange expertise.

  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM with non-Oracle source systems.

  • Groovy scripting experience.

  • REST API and automation experience.

  • Wider Oracle EPM Cloud experience, including EPBCS and related applications.

The priority for this programme is securing strong PCMCS developers, as this is a more specialist skillset than Planning. The ideal candidate will have genuine hands-on PCMCS development experience and be comfortable contributing across Planning and integration activities where required.

Experience of Data Exchange and building complex interfaces to external systems will be highly advantageous given the nature of the programme.
