Job description

Are you a Software Engineer looking to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes that genuinely make an impact?

We're partnering with a leading technology consultancy delivering cutting-edge solutions across both public and private sector clients. They're looking for talented engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, working with modern cloud technologies and building products used by millions of people.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Building modern applications and services using technologies such as Java or Python
  • Developing cloud-native solutions, primarily within AWS environments
  • Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
  • Working with containers, serverless technologies and infrastructure as code
  • Ensuring high standards across security, performance, accessibility and code quality
  • Collaborating closely with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver exceptional products

Requirements

  • Commercial software engineering experience with technologies including Java or Python
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue or Svelte
  • Exposure to AWS and cloud-native engineering principles
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK or Pulumi
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tooling including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work within agile delivery teams
