Job description

  • Design, develop and maintain secure AWS cloud solutions
  • Build and deploy applications and services using modern DevOps practices
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, CDK or Terraform
  • Support cloud migration and cloud-native transformation projects
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery and deployment processes
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects and stakeholders across project teams
  • Monitor, optimise and enhance cloud-based environments
  • Contribute to solution design and technology selection decisions

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Knowledge of AWS technologies including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM and related services
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
  • Scripting experience using Python, Bash or Shell
  • Experience using version control platforms such as Git
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for cloud technologies and continuous learning

Desirable Experience

  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer or DevOps Engineer
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS or EKS
  • Microservices and API development experience
  • CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity or Bitbucket
  • Automated testing practices and frameworks
  • Understanding of Linux, networking and infrastructure operations
  • Knowledge of monitoring, observability and FinOps practices
