AI & Technology Developer

We're looking for a talented AI & Technology Developer to join us and work under our Head of Tech to help build the future of our businesses, and your career along with it. The Opportunity

This is a rare and genuinely exciting role. You won't be one of hundreds of developers in a faceless tech firm, you'll be a key player in a high growth professional services group, with direct visibility at senior leadership level from day one.

Working as part of a small, highly capable tech team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, building, and embedding AI-driven solutions and automation across our businesses and the wider group, spanning financial services, professional services, and beyond.

• Developing and implementing AI tools and automation to drive efficiency across business operations
• Collaborating closely with the Head of Tech to shape and deliver our tech roadmap
• Building and maintaining internal systems, applications, and data workflows
• Identifying opportunities to use technology to streamline processes and improve the client and staff experience
• Supporting tech needs across multiple businesses within the group, giving you broad exposure and variety
• Staying ahead of developments in AI and emerging technologies and bringing ideas to the table

Essential:

• Ability to code PHP without reliance on frameworks
• Experience administering MySQL databases
• Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Good understanding of workflows / process flows
• Able to work as part of a team, while managing your own workload and priorities
• Commercially minded, you understand that technology should solve real business problems
• A self starter who can work both independently and collaboratively within a small team
• Strong communication skills, able to translate technical ideas to non technical stakeholders
• Passionate about AI and what it can do for businesses right now, not just in theory

Nice to have:

• General IT troubleshooting
• WordPress development
• AWS experience
• Experience in financial services or professional services is a bonus, but not essential - attitude and ability matter most

• Salary of £50,000+ depending on experience
