Job description

Samson Rose has been exclusively engaged to find a Robotics Software Design Engineer to join a cutting-edge industrial automation company that is driving the future of robotics and automation. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you'll focus on analyzing, designing, and implementing software automation projects for industrial machinery. You'll evaluate the most appropriate available solutions and develop new ones that meet technical specifications, safety standards, and time and cost constraints. Located just north of Boston, their new Robotics Hub is strategically positioned to collaborate with leading clients across booming sectors like automated manufacturing, logistics, intralogistics, and warehousing. With state-of-the-art facilities on-site, you'll prototype, build, and deploy innovative robotic solutions directly in the lab, giving you the freedom to turn bold ideas into reality with agility and speed. Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in automation/robotics.
  • Knowledge of robot mechanics (direct-inverse kinematics).
  • Robot programming (FANUC-ABB-YASKAWA)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, Scripting Visual Basic.
  • PLC programming (Rockwell-Siemens-Codesys), HMI programming (Rockwell-Siemens)., Motion Control, and SCADA software (e.g. Ignition).
  • Simulation software and Digital Twin (Unity-Emulate3D).
  • Knowledge of Design Patterns and UML, DBMS, Web & Mobile applications (Ionic-Angular), and ROS
