We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Deployment Manager to oversee the quality assurance and deployment processes for our software solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, deployment strategies, and team leadership. This role is crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance while being delivered efficiently to our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with both our Technical and Client Operations teams in the planning and execution of strategic and tactical initiatives, as well as other team's members across the company.

Purpose and Duties

• Triage Management - responsible for the capture/coordination/priority of new Features and Bugs
• Responsible for the scope and organisation of testing - collaborate with product management and identify acceptance criteria & user story definitions
• Lead the quality assurance process, including manual and automated testing, to ensure functionality, performance, and security
• Develop and maintain testing frameworks, tools, and processes to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Communicate testing and deployment status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure project milestones are met
• Manage deployment processes, ensuring seamless implementation of software releases in production environments
• Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and compliance with change management protocol
• Plan and execute migrations for infrastructure and version upgrades - draft rollback plans, deployment steps and migration activities
• Stakeholder reporting & Project governance
• Portfolio management - responsible for governance and reporting of our project portfolio
• Bring a fresh pair of eyes to help shape our testing and deployment methodologies

Skills and Experience

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (eg, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proven experience in a similar role within the financial securities sector
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Stakeholder Management - C-suite Reporting
• Third-Party/Client management
• Project Management relating to SaaS applications
