Senior Security Engineer

• We design, develop, optimize, and enhance a GenAI prompt security platform to protect our AI and LLM-based applications from adversarial attacks and prompt injections
• We build and automate a security testing framework to validate protection mechanisms across a range of LLM use cases
• We own solutions that are expected to operate and perform at scale across our organisation
• We collaborate with stakeholders and partners across Engineering, Operations, and the wider Citi organisation across different time zones

• OpenShift, We are hiring for a London-based role with a salary of £80,000 to £90,000 per annum. This position focuses on building a GenAI prompt security platform and related security testing capabilities to protect our firms AI and LLM applications at scale. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and partner teams across our wider organisation in a highly collaborative environment.

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of relevant industry work experience
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Experience across the full lifecycle of design, implementation, and operation of enterprise software solutions in cross-functional teams
• Expertise in a major programming language such as Python and/or Go, along with associated tooling such as Git, Maven, IDEs, and Jenkins
• Expertise in designing and implementing secure APIs and libraries
• Experience in Generative AI, LLM frameworks, LLM prompt engineering, and/or adversarial testing is a bonus
• Experience with cyber engineering and operations, including DevSecOps or MLSecOps
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience with containerized deployment technologies such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
