Job description

We're working with an established and profitable SaaS company that has been building market-leading software for over a decade. With thousands of customers worldwide and a strong reputation in its sector, the business has grown sustainably without external investment, creating a stable and supportive environment for engineers who want to focus on building great products rather than chasing aggressive growth targets.

This is an opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative engineering team where your ideas will be heard, your work will have a direct impact, and you'll be trusted to take ownership of meaningful projects. The Opportunity

The business is looking to hire both a Ruby on Rails Developer and a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to help deliver customer-facing features, improve existing functionality and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform.

Engineers work closely with Product, collaborate regularly with teammates and are encouraged to take an active role in shaping solutions. The team values quality, pragmatism and continuous improvement over unnecessary process or rigid ways of working.

For senior candidates, there will also be opportunities to mentor other engineers, influence technical direction and help drive engineering best practices across the team. Tech Stack

  • Product-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working within a small, agile team
  • Passion for building quality software
  • Interest in learning and continuous improvement

For senior candidates, experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions would be highly beneficial.

Benefits & conditions

  • Full salary for a 4-day working week
  • Profitable and financially stable business
  • Small engineering team with genuine influence
  • Product-led environment focused on solving real customer problems
  • Dedicated learning and development time (20%)
