Solution Architect - (Outside IR35) - Hybrid (2-3 days a week)

Are you an experienced Solution Architect with a proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation programmes?

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading UK pet insurance and healthcare organisation embarking on a major technology transformation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future architecture, define migration strategies, and influence the roadmap for a complex enterprise environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Assess the current application landscape and identify opportunities for transformation.
• Design target-state architecture aligned with business and technology strategy.
• Define migration approaches, including upgrades, replatforming and modernisation.
• Align application, data and integration architecture across the organisation.
• Identify architectural risks, dependencies and constraints.
• Facilitate architecture workshops and engage with senior stakeholders to shape future-state solutions.

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture across Java, .NET, Legacy systems and microservices.
• Expertise in integration patterns, APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of data architecture and cloud migration principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with AI-led discovery platforms.
• Salesforce or CRM ecosystem experience.
• Multi-country transformation programme experience.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
