Job description
State Fund is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager I (QA Policy) to lead our Quality Assurance function-an essential part of delivering reliable, high-performing technology solutions that support California employers and employees. About the Role The IT Manager I oversees the QA Policy team responsible for ensuring quality, consistency, and reliability across applications, components, and system interfaces. This role partners closely with Development, DevOps, Data Management, Network Operations, offshoring partners, and consultants to drive automation, manage testing activities, and strengthen enterprise quality practices., * Lead the QA Policy team and guide statewide QA practices and methodologies.
- Oversee the implementation of automation, including employee training and system/application testing.
- Ensure QA alignment with organizational priorities, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on testing readiness, system reliability, and process improvements.
- Provide leadership, direction, and strategic recommendations to strengthen overall product quality and customer experience.
