Job description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for advanced security-focused hardware products.

You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and high-performance embedded systems while contributing throughout the complete product development lifecycle., * Design and develop embedded software using C/C++

  • Develop firmware for embedded devices and hardware platforms
  • Build secure software features focused on data protection and system reliability
  • Perform hardware/software integration, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Develop and execute verification and validation test plans
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers during board bring-up and product development
  • Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices
  • Prepare technical documentation including design specifications and test reports
  • Support product quality, release readiness, and continuous improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Development
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Experience with embedded firmware development
  • Knowledge of Embedded Linux and/or RTOS
  • Experience working with ARM processors, microcontrollers, or embedded systems
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices, version control, and debugging techniques
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Cryptography or security-focused embedded systems
  • Hardware debugging and board bring-up
  • USB, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN communication protocols
  • Secure Boot or firmware security
  • Unit Testing / Test-Driven Development
  • Git or GitHub
  • Hardware integration and system validation
