Job description

  • Provide day-to-day support for clinical applications, maximizing system effectiveness and uptime.
  • Manage system upgrades, hardware/software lifecycle planning, and cloud migrations.
  • Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to refine workflows and bridge solution gaps.
  • Assist with EMR integration and interface coordination to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
  • Conduct end-user training and serve as liaison between clinical teams and IT.
  • Track project status, report on milestones, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support Active Directory and basic network configurations related to system access.
  • Document system design, configuration, maintenance and issues
  • Develop and maintain system security policies
  • Maintain data integrity, consistency and patient privacy
  • Document and adhere to system change management policies and procedures
  • Document system acceptance testing procedures and results for new systems/applications and upgrades
  • Communicate system changes and upgrades to end users
  • Document end user feedback for system modifications and improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 7 years experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in an IT application development role
  • PACS experience
  • Software development experience with Microsoft tools (e.g., .Net Framework (2.0, 3.0, 3.5), C#, ASP.Net, TFS & SQL Server)
  • Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, IIS, SharePoint Server and/or BizTalk not required but beneficial
  • Experience with process improvements
  • Healthcare experience a plus
