Job description
The ERP & Systems Administrator supports and maintains enterprise applications with a primary focus on Microsoft 365, Deacom ERP, and internal business systems. This hybrid role blends systems administration, business process support, and end-user assistance-playing a key part in IT operations and ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
Manage users, groups, and licenses in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Support Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive environments.
Administer basic security settings via Microsoft Defender & Compliance Center.
Assist with MFA, shared mailboxes, email policies, and role-based access.
Partner with the IT Manager to improve the Microsoft 365 experience for end users
ERP Administration (Deacom)
Serve as the primary administrator for the Deacom ERP system.
Manage user roles, permissions, and training.
Act as the main liaison with Deacom for issue resolution and feature requests.
Support end-user troubleshooting, feature enhancements, and process documentation.
Maintain ERP reporting, data integrity, and workflow consistency.
Systems Administration * Maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes.
Provide Tier 1-2 support for Microsoft 365, ERP, and Windows-based systems.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning.
Perform routine patching, software deployment, and account audits.
Project Support * Participate in modernization initiatives, automation projects, and system upgrades.
Collaborate with IT team members on long-term strategic projects.
Identify efficiency opportunities using PowerShell, Power Automate, or other automation tools.
Requirements
2+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments.
2+ years ERP administration experience (Deacom or similar).
Strong knowledge of Windows client/server environments.
Solid understanding of AD, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy.
Familiarity with ITIL/help desk operations and ticketing systems.
Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Associate-level certifications.
CompTIA A+, Security+, or equivalent (Server+ a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple systems.
Eagerness to learn and take ownership of internal systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SharePoint permissions or automation.
Deacom ERP certification or formal training.
Working knowledge of PowerShell or Power Automate.
Exposure to Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft security/compliance tools.
Familiarity with low-code/no-code tools such as Zapier or API-based integrations.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Knowledge of CAT-6/6a/7/8 cabling and physical layer protocols.
Ability to climb ladders, crouch, kneel, and access server/network hardware.
Manual dexterity to operate tools, peripherals, and cable terminations.
Ability to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.

This is a Full Time Temp to hire position with a Monday-Friday 8am- 4:30 pm Schedule
Pay for this position is $35-$40 DOE
